Last month I was shooting for Google here in London to show off their Wifi routers. Wardrobe and prop styling by Charlie Cave and Rosalind Keep. Big thanks to Mai and Gouri at Google, John and Sam at Media Monks, Bernd and Mimoun at Made for Digital and Anna at LPA.

Calmels Blacksmiths

Just got these back from the lab. I spent a couple of hours with the guys at Calmels recently, a blacksmith in south London that have been on the same premises since 1956. It was very noisy with sparks flying and hammers banging away but had a great atmosphere and the guys were great fun. Here are a few portraits shot on the 'blad.

Hanging out at Crown Works Pottery

Busted out the Hasselblad and spent a morning with Giulietta Hextall at Crown Works Pottery. We made a few portraits and shots of her at work on the wheel. Here are a few of my favourites.

Recent street candids from Shanghai

I was out in Seoul and Shanghai for work last month and had a couple of days free to wander around. I took my Mamiya 6 with me and shot a few rolls while exploring.

More portraits from the Europeans project

I've been enjoying shooting film again. For this project I busted out my old Hasselblad. All the pictures have been made using only natural light and 1 roll of film - 12 frames. Is nice to get back to basics sometimes.

New portrait project - The Europeans

I've started a new project photographing people from the 27 other EU nations that have made their lives here in London. I want to show the diversity they bring to our wonderful city. London is the original global city, with a significant foreign population for over 250 years. However in the near future immigration from the EU is likely to be greatly reduced. What does this mean for London?

Artisans at work

A few of the pictures I made of London-based makers at work for Your Artisans. Super interesting to see how all these things are made.
